four more
Well. I have well and truly finished four more books of the vast collection that I bought not too long ago. The entirety of the Death saga of Discworld. And I have been taking it much slower. As of my last post I was already nearly halfway done with the Death saga, and instead I decided to cool down a little bit, and managed to take over a month to finish the rest of it, instead of the mere week or so it would have taken me at my previous pace.
This is good, I think. I think I was incredibly likely to burn myself out of reading if I had continued reading as voraciously as I had those first few weeks, so the fact that I have been able to kick that habit (helped, albeit, by the entrance of several new video games into my library) means that I will be able to enjoy them all the more.
The Death saga… felt a little bit more put together, if that makes sense? I mean, they were stories about a more established character in the Discworld setting, as opposed to just two stories about an entirely new character, like the Moist von Lipwig saga was.
Now that I am done with the Death books, I am moving on to the much much longer Watch books. These are some of the bread and butter core Discworld books, and I am excited to get started with Guards! Guards!.
