Soul Music
Another commit, another book. This time the third installment in the short series of books about the personification of Death, Soul Music. I have honestly no idea what this one is about. This is the book that I am going into the most blind out of all of the Discworld books that I have read so far.
So let’s go!
This one certainly took me a bit longer to finish. I had a few other things going on, so my pace slowed a bit.
This, out of all of the Death series books so far, focuses the least on the figure of Death himself. Instead, it mostly focuses on his granddaugher, Susan, and how Death trying to take a holiday crosses Susan’s path with that of some up-and-coming musicians.
The catch, is that one of these musicians was meant to die, and appeared to have been saved by music itself. Chaos ensues, in a story involving “music-with-rocks-in”, wizards, the Death of Rats, and assorted other colorful characters.
