Making Money
To ambitiously continue my Discworld saga, I am moving on to a book that I have, as a matter of fact, never read! It is next in the Moist Von Lipwig saga, however, and I do not wish to jump around the setting too much, so I must continue (that, and I am actually quite excited for Making Money).
Having finished it as of the writing of this particular part of the review (and all of the parts below it), I can say a few things about it. I think that the story was, all things considered, very similar to that of Going Postal.
My general feeling is that although I wish it was more different, there was still enjoyable humor and memorable characters. Not quite as many memorable characters though, I’m afraid. Characters that would have had a bit more attention paid to them in Going Postal were barely mentioned more than once in Making Money, even after being given names and stories. It felt odd.
Still, overall I enjoyed the book quite a lot, so I can not find real reason to mark it down to anything less than 4 stars.
Goodness, I am really tearing through these books rather fast, aren’t I?
